In normal operation, each point group is examined during the initial processing of
the point group configuration file to determine if commands can be consolidated
into fewer messages. This is done to increase efficiency by reducing message
overhead.
When the control extensions described in this section are used, sorting the
commands could disrupt the desired sequence in unexpected ways. When using the
extensions, the point group attribute no_sort should be specified by entering
“no_sort = yes” in the group attribute section.

Three new ways of using commands have been added:
• Constant Values (Section B-3.1)
• Set Command (Section B-3.2)
• Delay Command (Section B-3.3)
B-3.1. Constant Values
Constant values can be specified instead of LC module memory addresses. This is
specified by using C as the initial letter of the point name, one of the existing
designators D, I, F, or S, and a constant value which will be used in place of the
points value.
