If the trigger is a packed group point and no bit number is specified, then the point
group will be executed when the value of any of the bits in the group changes. This
is useful when a packed group is being used as value rather than as a collection of
digital states.
If the trigger is an analog point then the point group will be executed when the
analog value of the point changes. The “filter” group attribute can be used in
conjunction with an analog trigger point to specify a deadband by which the value
must change before the point group is executed. The filter value defaults to 0.0.
