Extensions
B-1. Section Overview
Several point group attributes and commands have been added to the Modbus
interface to provide more functionality than a straightforward mapping of LC
module data and Modbus slave data.
B-2. Point Group Attribute Extensions
Two new point group attributes have been added:
• Triggered Operation (Section B-2.1)
• Non-sorted Operation (Section B-2.2)
B-2.1. Triggered Operation
When the group operation Trigger is chosen and a trigger address is specified, the
entire point group is executed only when the trigger point changes.
The trigger point may be of any type. If the trigger is a digital or a bit of a packed
group point, the point group will be executed when the state changes from reset to
