Group two of the example specifies the signals to be sent to the controller. An
analysis of the first line shows the signal “unit 1 run” will be had from LC module
register 40 using SLCDOUT. The Modbus function Force Multiple Coils will be
used to send the data to Modbus unit 5. The data will be sent “by exception”
meaning the message is formed and sent only when the state of one of the specified
locations changes. The state will be sent to coil C10001 (represented by 0000 in the
protocol as explained in Section 3).
