The diagnostic information is displayed on the external host PC screen. The
information comes to the host PC through the serial connection between the PC and
the Ovation LC module.
The interface program checks for keyboard entry, then attempts to make all
transactions implied by the point groups. If the point group file is long or if the LC
module times out for each message because the Modbus slave is nonexistent, there
can be a considerable amount of time between the recognition of keystrokes.
