2-1. Section Overview
This section discusses cabling considerations for the Ovation LC/Modbus Interface.
Information about the Ovation Link Controller (LC) module hardware can be found
in R3-1150 “Ovation I/O Reference Manual.”
2-2. Interface Connections
The Modbus protocol is used by many control manufacturers. The cable between
the LC module and the other device must be made to match the manufacturer’s
serial port connection. The connector pin-out should be available in the
manufacturer’s documentation.
